Each book uses photographs to follow a particular project from inception to final result. As the text unfolds, the books show children working together, setting goals, expressing and explaining themselves, recognising the roles of voluntary, community and pressure groups, making decisions and developing skills. As well as a glossary and an index, endmatter also includes further suggestions for getting involved.
